Not knowing that Theo was the reason he missed the race, Todd let him be his shoulder to cry on. The ex lovers then slept together before making another go of their relationship, continuing the abuse storyline further. Todd missed his race (Credit: ITV) Todd missed his marathon in Coronation Street Today on the cobbles, Todd’s friends were concerned when there was no sign of him on the morning of his marathon. Theo suggested that he’d headed over there early to prep, but they then realised that he’d slept in and missed his big day. Theo stopped James from popping over to speak to Todd, taking it upon himself to see what was going on instead. In the flat, Todd was feeling awful as he believed he’d slept through all of his alarms. Of course, he had no idea that Theo had spiked his drink the night before and had also cancelled his alarms on purpose. At the Rovers, Theo gifted Todd a medal anyway despite not running the marathon. His friends all agreed that Billy would be proud of Todd no matter what, noting that all the money he’d raised would still go to charity. At the end of the episode, once Summer had quickly come and gone, Theo told Todd that it wasn’t a bad thing that Summer caught them as now she’d know that they were ‘back together.’ Todd was at a loss for words over this statement, not quite sure how to react. Despite not verbally agreeing to give things another go with Theo, he told Theo he loved him and sealed the reunion with a kiss. But, will Todd ever manage to escape from Theo? Or, will he keep turning back into his arms again and again?
