The cruise tackles US history with transparency, and a visit to the Oak Alley sugar plantation fills in gaps regarding Jane's knowledge of slavery. Jane also visits Louisiana State Penitentiary, the largest maximum-security prison in the US. The journey is rounded off with a trip to Graceland, once the home of and now a shrine to Elvis
