Running home after almost being caught by Howie, Oscar planned to run before the police could catch him, but Lauren soon cottoned on to what had happened. Elsewhere, Ross and Vicki were shocked as Joel spat his venom at Kat, and Eve and Avani were forced to lie to Priya about the pregnancy. Here’s everything that happened in EastEnders tonight. Lauren figured out what Oscar had done (Credit: BBC) Lauren confronted Oscar in EastEnders tonight With Patrick unconscious on the floor, Oscar began to panic and called an ambulance. In The Vic, Howie was still sulking over Kim’s comments about Vincent. As the women laid into their men, he skulked off home. Meanwhile, Lauren received another menacing visit from Fat Mike (neither menacing nor fat, but here we are). After sending him packing, she tried to reach Oscar over the phone again, unaware of what was unfolding just across the Square. Article continues below Read all the latest spoilers Arriving home, Howie found Patrick unconscious on the floor. As he rang for help, Oscar made a dash for the door. He managed to escape before Howie could see his face, but flashed off a lovely glimpse of his ankle tag on the way out of the door. With all this chaos going on, Denise and Kim arrived home. After getting the full story from Howie, Denise rushed back to The Vic to fetch Yolande. She was distraught to find paramedics wheeling Patrick out of the house, into the back of a waiting ambulance. From the Branning household, Oscar watched guiltily as the ambulance sped Patrick away. Panicking as talk turned to murder investigation and door-to-door searches, Oscar prepared to leave, attempting to sneak out of the house while everyone was in bed. However, he was caught in the act by Lauren. She’d found Patrick’s money on the kitchen counter, along with Oscar’s apology note. But will she shop Oscar to the police? And will Patrick be okay? Ross and the other parents catch Joel and Tommy up to no good (Credit: BBC) Joel showed his true colours Having learned that Joel’s mum is getting re-married, Ross stressed about how his volatile son will take the news. Encouraging Joel to pull up a pew, Ross broke the news. The lad seemed to take it in his stride, although it wasn’t long before he was sneaking out of the house to meet up with Tommy. Meanwhile, Vicki stressed over Joel’s reaction. She was seriously concerned that the teen was more disturbed than he’s been letting on, and that Ross needs to accept that there’s something not right with his son. Turns out, she’s right to worry. In The Vic, Joel confided in Tommy, revealing how his family had fallen apart after his mum had cheated on Ross. Discovering that Joel had snuck out, Ross and Vicki arrived at The Vic in search of their son. They found the boys attempting to sneak booze out of the barrel store. As the parents attempted to discipline their children, Joel took umbrage at Kat’s assertion that this had all been Joel’s bad influence. He lashed out at both Vicki (describing her as a ‘melt’) and Kat, who he called a ‘slag.’ A horrified Ross escorted Joel from the building, but not before he could take aim at Stacey on his way out. Under any other circumstances, the line “ain’t you got baps to butter?” would have been an all-timer, but we won’t give Joel the satisfaction. Priya wanted answers (Credit: BBC) Eve lied to Priya in EastEnders tonight Priya’s plans for a quiet night in were scuppered by moody Avani, who raised an eyebrow with her pale expression and sulky demeanour. Priya was going through her daughter’s pockets when she found an incriminating receipt from the hospital, seemingly confirming her suspicions. Eve was forced to lie when Priya confronted Avani over the receipt, claiming to have taken a funny turn. Disaster averted, but Avani was rattled by the near miss. Later, Eve shared her concerns with Suki, and stressed how the secrets and lies were no good for Avani or the pregnancy. Will Suki follow through on telling Ravi and Priya? It’s not going well (Credit: BBC) Jean still can’t pour a pint Kat and Alfie returned to find that Jean still couldn’t pull a pint. Watching from afar, Elaine was dismayed to see how The Vic had gone downhill since the Carters’ tenure, and shared her frustration in Yolande that she’d been unable to find a new job since.
