The BBC’s newest promo shows the long-awaited reunion of Kat and Zoe Slater, depicting a beaming Kat walking through the market as her family and husband look on, smiling. At the same time, Zoe arrives in town, amid overcast skies and pouring rain. As the two make their way to The Queen Vic, ‘Dedicated to the One I Love’ by the Mamas and the Papas plays. But this trailer isn’t just notable for Zoe’s return. No, it also reveals that another absentee local will be making their comeback soon. Standing in the rain, huddled under an umbrella with Patrick Trueman? It’s none other than Sharon Watts. Sharon’s back! However, she disappeared rather abruptly afterwards, with her friends and family being told that she’d had to visit sister Michelle in Australia. No explanation was given for star Letitia Dean’s sudden exit from the soap, although the actress has been known to take breaks from filming in the past.
