It’s been a tough week for Howie (or night, given that this week’s episodes have all unfolded over the same day so far), between his money problems and Kim comparing him to her ex-husband. Howie was already feeling humiliated after being unable to pay for an expensive festival trip for son Denzel. He went to see Nicola about a bouncer’s job at Harry’s Barn, but the distracted nightclub owner more or less laughed him out of the door. Talk turned to Vincent this week as Kim remembered her old life (Credit: BBC) Vincent ‘returns’ as Kim remembers her ex-husband Back home, he overheard Kim talking about how she missed life with Vincent, and how he used to provide for her. Upset, Howie turned to gambling with Patrick to raise the money for Denzel, and later got into an argument with Kim over what she had said. He then returned home, finding Patrick unconscious on the floor. As Howie called an ambulance, the culprit – Oscar – rushed for the door. And some wondered whether the family man might be headed down a darker path. While some have predicted that a gambling addiction might be in his future, others have suggested that a turn to the ‘dark side’ might beckon. “I think Howie is gonna develop a complex or he’s gonna try and be more like Vincent. Which could be a bad thing,” wrote one fan on X. They continued: This could lead to Howie going down a dark path or eventually leaving Kim.
