EastEnders star Lorraine Stanley shows off incredible five stone weight-loss transformation

Former EastEnders actress Lorraine Stanley has shared her incredible weight loss with fans on Instagram.

Lorraine, 48, moved on from her Walford role as Karen Taylor earlier last year, having briefly popped back to Albert Square following son Keanu’s sudden disappearance.

And in February 2024, the soap star also stunned fans by revealing she’d dropped a significant amount of weight. Now, Karen has revealed her body transformation has continued since then with a new snap on her Instagram Stories account.

Over the weekend, Lorraine shared a Story marking a family occasion – her sister Karen’s birthday.

The upload showed Lorraine smiling and standing next to her sibling, wearing a floral vest and khaki maxi skirt, as well as some oversized sunglasses.

Lorraine’s caption read: “Happy Birthday to my beautiful sister Karen. Love you millions.”

And amid the celebrations, the TV fave’s slimmer figure indicated she has continued with the “healthy choices” she previously pinpointed as responsible for the changes in her life.

How has Lorraine Stanley lost weight?

That’s because Lorraine reflected last year on how she shed five stone in a year.

What a difference a year makes. Five stone down, feeling good.

The mother-of-one explained on social media at the time: “What a difference a year makes. Five stone down, feeling good, clean living, healthy choices, new me, healthy mummy.”

According to reports, Lorraine also worked on a fitness regimen with a personal trainer.

Additionally, she is also said to have given up vaping to help boost her health.

Fans were also blown away when Lorraine gave them a glimpse of her in her bikini while she holidayed in the Canaries.

One fan told her at the time: “You look beautiful.”

“Looking fabulous,” gushed another. And a third impressed observer gasped: “Wowsers!”

Meanwhile, compliments for Lorraine continue to pour in on social media all these months later.

“I’ve always loved @loustar76 in Eastenders, but her weight loss is [fire emoji]. She looks amazing!” one thrilled X user wrote recently.
