Vincent disappeared from Walford in 2018, after getting on the wrong side of local gangster Aidan Maguire. Believing that Vincent planned on testifying to the police, Aidan had Vincent killed… although viewers never actually saw it happen. The off-screen nature of Vincent’s death has led many fans to speculate that he might one day return, having managed to escape his grisly fate. Could he be running Ravi’s drugs operation from behind the scenes? Could Vincent return to EastEnders? We get the duff duff after he steps out of a dark alley way and his face is then illuminated by the street light to reveal an older, hardened and scarred Vincent,” another fan replied. Fans have wondered whether the soap could be lining up Vincent’s return over recent weeks. This came as Howie overheard Kim comparing their relationship to how life was when she was with Vincent. And with hard-up Howie struggling to provide, the comparison wasn’t great. Could these mentions signal Vincent’s return? Viewers never got to see Vincent’s demise, with the character being killed off-screen by Aidan’s thugs. His fate was revealed a few years later, when Kim attempted to track him down. She found a man claiming to be ‘Vincent Hubbard’ – only to meet Howie, who’d found Vincent’s wallet and was passing himself off as the dead man. Not only did Howie confirm that Howie was most likely dead, there was also video evidence on Phil’s phone.
