Does this mean their affair is back on? Elsewhere, Viv and Kelly find out that Billy Hopwood’s been granted parole and clash when they react very differently to the news. These episodes first aired on January 21 and 22, 2007. Billy’s being released! There’s panic for Bob when he gets a letter telling him Billy Hopwood has been granted parole. He decides the best thing to do is hide the letter and not tell Viv what he knows (Bob, this is never the best idea!). But when Kelly finds out she is furious. And she’s even angrier when she realises Bob could have prevented Billy from returning to the village, if he’d only told Viv about it all in the first place. She demands that Bob comes clean to his family. article continues below Read all the latest spoilers Matthew makes a threat in Classic Emmerdale Elsewhere, Matthew’s scheming as he warns Barraclough that he’ll make an official complaint about Vaughan’s personal relationship with Rosemary. Barraclough alerts Vaughan and the chief agrees to back off for the sake of the murder investigation. Andy’s fuming – and Katie pays the price Meanwhile, poor Katie’s in the firing line as she takes the brunt of Andy’s anger over Billy’s release. Jo steps in and soothes things as she suggests to Andy that he could convince his dad to stay away from the village. Andy is grateful for Jo’s understanding and the bond between the pair grows. She tells him that his crime was unforgiveable, but she adds that she wants to move on with her life. And Billy’s pleased when she says she’ll allow him to return to the village. But on the way home she bursts into tears, and back in Emmerdale, she has a furious row with Kelly who thinks her stepmum has been stupid. Andy continues to take his annoyance over Billy out on Katie, playing right into Jo’s manipulative hands. She organises an orienteering day for the three of them, but Katie insists that Donna comes along, too. When Andy and Jo are alone, he admits to her that he wishes it was just the two of them. And the pair end up sharing a sneaky snog! Classic Emmerdale: David plays dirty to impress his dad Elsewhere, David undercuts Laurel’s prices in order to win clients for his cleaning business, and – he hopes – to impress dad Eric. Eric is pleased but he warns David not to poach any staff from the factory. David agrees and turns his attentions to Betty instead. Emmerdale usually airs weeknights on ITV at 7.30pm, with an early release on ITVX at 7am. Classic Emmerdale usually airs every weekday on ITV3 at 6am and 6.30am, plus 1.40pm and 2.10pm.
