One fan suggested: “After this morning’s episode, I think it could be Lydia. She was the only one without a real motive / way to do it. I think she’s done it for the Dingles. Obviously she will feel bad, but she could be trying to prove her loyalty and that she is one of them.” Another fan responded: “Lydia. The plate Kim has for her pie was red, whereas everyone else had a blue / white plate. Lydia would have been most likely serving the food. That being said, it was Chas’s apple pie that was served on a different plate. So, there is a chance Chas plated them and Lydia just served them. But Chas, Cain and Caleb feel too obvious. Definitely Lydia.” On another Reddit thread, viewers also theorised that Lydia was the one behind the poisoning. One penned: “I think Lydia was the one who poisoned Kim. I think she’s doing it on behalf of the Dingles bit will try to pretend to be innocent. Deep down though, she is a Dingle. Just a theory but my main prediction is Lydia.” However, one fan disagreed, recalling how guilty Lydia felt after Ice the horse had to be put down because of her actions. They commented: “I don’t think so. She felt guilty about Ice and what she did to Kim so I don’t think she has it in her, but you never know with this family. They really chose three main poisonous substances to widen the scope. Kim was the only one who drank the red wine. But, they could have at least pretended to feel worried about her. Instead they were all thinking of how much money they will get.” Read more: 6 ways Emmerdale could end Joe Tate’s villain arc Share Add as preferred source on Google Add as preferred source on Google Good to Know Share Add as preferred source on Google Add as preferred source on Google By Rebecca Sayers 30 Mar 2026, 11:03 By Rebecca Sayers 30 Mar 2026, 11:03 Previous Story Next Story
