John makes a huge mistake
In Emmerdale spoilers for Monday, April 28, John messes up big time and Liam and Chas are left confused.
The pressure is building for John, as he works hard to keep his secrets. But he makes a huge mistake that could come back to haunt him.
And with Chas and Liam convinced Ella was behind Liam’s attack, they’re left deflated when they’re proven to be wrong. Is the walls closing in on John?

1. Cain wants to find Nate
Cain is finally realising he has to do something about Nate. No one has seen or heard from him for months and he has abandoned his wife and daughter, leaving them in financial dire straits. All anyone has done so far is call and leave messages for Nate.
When Tracy gives Cain a birthday card Frankie has made for Nate, he’s upset to realise it’s his son’s birthday and he’s still not heard from him. Tracy has no way to get the card to Nate, so thinks Cain can sort it.
He leaves yet another voicemail for Nate, telling him they need to sort this out. And later, John is the one listening to the message…
2. John makes a mistake
After listening to Cain’s message, John accidentally answers the next phone call attempt from Cain. Freaking out over what to do, John sits in silence on the call before making the decision to hang up.
Will the call make Cain even more confused about Nate’s disappearance? And with John struggling to keep up with his own lies – are the walls starting to close in?
3. Chas and Liam continue to worry in Emmerdale spoilers
Liam was attacked because John tried to target Mack. Everyone believes Ella has returned and is trying to get revenge once again.
Obviously, we all know that Ella actually wasn’t responsible for anything she was accused of. Instead, it was all John – as was this. While he may have been targeting Mack, Liam ended up getting caught in the feud.
But PC Swirling informs Chas and Liam that that Ella has a tight alibi, which means it definitely wasn’t her. This isn’t the news they wanted to hear and both are concerned that someone else may have attacked Liam.
4. Sarah confides in Vanessa in Emmerdale spoilers
Sarah realises that she doesn’t actually want either Jacob or Kammy. Instead, she wants to be a mum.
She opens up to Vanessa, telling her that she wants to try IVF and plans to do it alone. Vanessa tries to make Sarah question the decision, but struggles to hide her concern.
Will Sarah go through with her plans? And will Vanessa tell Charity?
