1. Vinny has an outburst in Emmerdale spoilers

Gabby has been asking Vinny to look after her son Thomas a lot recently – and in turn he’s been palming the little lad off on his mum Mandy. Last night (Wednesday, April 23) Mandy questioned her son over why he doesn’t want to spend time with Thomas.

Vinny admitted he didn’t find Thomas the easiest child and Mandy said he just needs telling off from time to time. But Vinny confessed he was reluctant to reprimand him due to his own childhood. He said he could see the fear in Thomas’ eyes when he got mad as it matched his own when his dad, Paul, used to do the same.

Although Mandy tried to reassure him he would be a great dad and was nothing like his own father, Vinny wasn’t convinced.

He has a huge outburst at Gabby. He tells her he doesn’t want to be a dad and storms off.

Flabbergastered Gabby doesn’t really know what do, but will she find out the truth and manage to help Vinny deal with his demons? Or should Mandy step in and help them out?

2. Jacob and Kammy go ahead with their bike race

Despite Sarah warning Kammy not to race against Jacob, the two lads go ahead with the bike race.

With Sam, Charity and Cain (who’s there to support Kammy, much to Charity’s dismay) watching on, the race begins.

Meawhile, Sarah and Vanessa decide to create pros and cons lists for both Kammy and Jacob.

As the race continues, Jacob takes the lead. Afraid of the devils leap, he allows Kammy to overtake him once again.

Though Kammy executes it perfectly, Jacob ends up crashing.

Kammy attempts to check on his rival, but it’s clear Jacob wants nothing to do with him.

Though Kammy has won the race, any excitement quickly fizzles out, as Sarah appears.

She’s clearly livid — but will she forgive Kammy for going ahead with the race? And if not, will she choose Jacob, even though he got involved as well?

Emmerdale usually airs weeknights on ITV at 7.30pm, with an early release on ITVX at 7am.
