Emmerdale spoilers next week: Kammy and Jacob risk their lives as the battle for Sarah takes a dangerous turn

The heat is on in next week’s Emmerdale spoilers as Kammy and Jacob go head-to-head in a dangerous dirt bike race. Each man is hoping they’ll emerge the winner, and succeed in securing Sarah’s affections. But is there foolish rivalry about to end in tragedy?

Jacob and Kammy are love rivals in Emmerdale spoilers

Lovesick Jacob wants Sarah back, but there’s a Kammy-shaped obstacle standing in his way. Jealous of his ex’s romance with the cocky newcomer, Jacob has been trying to find a way to split them up. So far he’s been unsuccessful in his quest, but he’s managed to make an enemy of Kammy.

The pair are now preparing to compete in a dirt bike race, after Kammy challenged Jacob to see who’s the bigger man. But Sarah is furious when Jacob reveals what they’re planning and warns Kammy if he goes ahead with racing Jacob then they’re finished!

Later, Kammy confronts Jacob about snitching to Sarah and tells him this vendetta is personal now. Battle lines are re-drawn and Jacob and Kammy declare the race between them is back on.

Kammy takes an early lead in the race

As the day of the race arrives, Jacob is full of nerves. Cheering him on are Sarah’s gran Charity Dingle, along with her cousin Sam. But not every Dingle is showing their support for him.

Everyone is surprised when Cain suddenly turns up and reveals he’s team Kammy. Charity, who’s never liked Kammy, can’t believe what she’s hearing, but it seems Cain has taken a shine to the latest village bad boy.

Meanwhile, Vanessa tells Sarah the only way she can choose between her two suitors is with a pros and cons list for both. Will putting it down on paper help make Sarah’s mind up?

Back at the track, Cain and Charity place a last-minute cheeky bet as the race gets underway. It’s Kammy who takes an early lead, but something forces him to slow down, allowing Jacob the chance to get ahead. Will he emerge victorious?

Kammy gets the better of Jacob in Emmerdale spoilers

Jacob’s race quickly goes wrong when he reaches ‘the devils leap’ and hesitates. In contrast, Kammy barrels towards the hurdle and nails the jump.

When Jacob tries to get over the hurdle, he’s unable to get up enough speed on his bike. This leads to him crashing the vehicle. Kammy goes back to check on Jacob, but he orders him away, consumed with shame and resentment.

While all this is going on, Sarah arrives at the start line brimming with anger. Jubilant Kammy comes towards her, reveling in his victory. But his happiness is short-lived when he clocks the look on Sarah’s face.

Will she stay true to her word and call time on their relationship? And will Jacob emerge the winner after all?

Emmerdale usually airs weeknights at 7.30pm on ITV, with an early release at 7am on ITVX.
