A prim and proper American congresswoman is sent to monitor the moral conduct of GIs in Berlin. There she investigates the behaviour of a captain embroiled with a sultry nightclub singer with black-market connections, but she ends up compromising her own moral high ground with uncharacteristic enthusiasm.
