Amy Irons leads the nation into the New Year, with music from Nathan Evans, Michelle McManus, Robert Robertson, Georgia Cécile, Roddy Hart & the Lonesome Fire and Mànran, while some of Scotland's biggest TV stars join Amy on the sofa to look back at their highlights of 2025. Des Clarke leads the countdown to the Bells from Edinburgh, with 2026 being welcomed by the traditional lone piper on the ramparts of the castle, the firing of Mons Meg to mark midnight and a fireworks display above the capital, soundtracked by the BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra
