The presenter spends a couple of days in the company of comedian and actor Lenny Henry, discussing his career, early fame and complex childhood, from losing his mother to discovering his biological father. Their adventure kicks off in west London, where Lenny reveals one of his favourite Caribbean restaurants and favourite bookshop in the capital. They then head to the West Midlands town of Dudley, where the pair visit his childhood home, a nearby park of sentimental importance, the town's market and one of his old haunts, the Lamp Tavern
