Celebrating the 850th anniversary of Wales's first recorded cultural festival, the National Eisteddfod returns to its historic roots in west Wales, taking place in Llantwd, north Pembrokeshire. Huw bring viewers the musical highlights and stories from across the Maes, including brass bands and polished pop as well as classical and contemporary music. The festival opens with a performance on the rock and pop stage by Super Furry Animals, making their first Eisteddfod appearance in 30 years. Huw also explores a mix of contemporary folk, bluegrass, jazz and country at Ty Gwerin, including a 50th-anniversary concert by Welsh folk stars Ar Log
