Shanaz Gulzar sets out to identify and track down some of the people in a collection of portraits that were rescued from a skip outside a small photographic studio in Bradford, in the mid-1980s. Many of the photos depict new arrivals from the Asian subcontinent, eastern Europe and the Caribbean, attracted by the offer of work in wool mills, and together they record the changing face of a British industrial city in the middle of the 20th century
