In 'Brain Power,' Chris Hemsworth discovers that learning new skills is the key to boosting brain health, enhancing memory and focus, and protecting against age-related cognitive decline. To put this into practice in his own life, he takes on the challenge of learning the drums. The catch? He only has a few months to master the instrument before he is on stage with his superstar friend Ed Sheeran, playing in front of 70,000 unsuspecting fans. With his debut rapidly approaching, Chris turns to the performers of Cirque du Soleil, neuroscientist Maya Shankar, and drum wizard Ben Gordon (of rock band Parkway Drive) to find out how to accelerate his learning.
