The experts set to work on another selection of treasured possessions, beginning with a Chinese lion dance costume suffering from a weakened bamboo frame, tattered fabric and faded paintwork. Kirsten Ramsay is presented with a pair of maquettes - miniature ceramic sculptures - which were damaged during transportation, and Will Kirk and Dominic Chinea work on a pair of traditional beer pumps. Meanwhile, goldsmith Richard Talman restores a diamond engagement ring that once belonged to the owner's mother. But first, he has to cut it from her finger, where it is stuck fast
