Martin visits the windswept Faroe Islands and their dramatic cliffs that are home to thousands of colourful puffins, and the unique Faroese sheep breed. He plunges into freezing waters to hunt for giant horse mussels, and plays electric bass with a Viking metal star before exploring spectacular landscapes of calving glaciers and enormous icebergs in Greenland. The actor also sees an ancient Inuit mask dance, and ends with a trek on Greenland's permanent ice sheet with a climate change scientist
