Katie Derham presents from the Royal Albert Hall as the Sinfonia of London performs a programme brimming with colourful orchestration under the baton of their ever-popular artistic director Wilson. The concert opens with Verdi's overture to La Forza del Destino, which is followed by Norwegian cellist Jonathan Aasgaard joining for his Proms solo debut in Walton's Cello Concerto, and finishes with Respighi's Roman Trilogy.
