The presenter trains in all seven crew positions on the iconic Second World War aircraft. He gets to fly a Lancaster under the instruction of one of the RAF's most experienced heavy plane pilots, and goes behind the controls of an original turret, which has been reactivated to fire live rounds for the first time since the war. His final challenge is to drop a flour-packed dummy bomb on a precise target, for which he receives tutelage from the last surviving member of the Dambusters mission
