Travelling to West Papua, Bruce Parry joins the Kombai, a race of people who still use stone tools, live in tree houses, and are rumoured to be cannibals. When they see him for the first time they confront him with bows and arrows - but after he sheds both his clothes and his inhibitions, they slowly begin to accept him as one of their own, sharing their food, revealing their traditions, and discussing how they deal with suspected witches from rival clans
