A famous crime writer who used to date Captain Ross asks him to look into the disappearance of her much younger husband. Goren and Eames trace the man's movements via his car's GPS tracking system and suspect he was the victim of a carjacking. Further inquires lead them to believe he had staged the crime to run off with his lover, who is subsequently reported missing by her parents.
