Amanda Anisimova impressed on the No. 1 Court at this stage last year with a 6-1, 7-6 victory over Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova. The American would eventually finish the tournament as runner-up to Iga Swiatek and she was also second to Aryna Sabalenka in the 2025 US Open, so will have gone into this event determined to go one better and win her maiden Grand Slam title
