A call for a patient threatening to take his life by walking into the sea in Blackpool is received. Mental health nurse Vicky and paramedic Andy arrive to find the patient with police officers who have successfully prevented him from executing his plan. It falls to Vicky to try to comfort the man and find him a bed for the night. Elsewhere, a call for a 100-year-old patient causes concern for crewmates Holly and Isaac, who can see the patient lying on the floor but cannot get in without the help of the fire brigade
