When Joe, Peter and Mike go up the mountain without their coats, a sunny day turns bad fast, and Mike gets injured. / When Professor Pickles tells Norman and Peter about the King of Pontypandy, Norman sets out with a metal detector to find his crown. / When Miss Pawdry stows away on a Pioneer camping trip, she leads the Pontypandy Pioneers into the forest and gets them lost. / When Peter lets Nipper off his lead after promising not to, Nipper runs away. Peter tries to get Nipper back but accidentally scares the dog off the edge of a cliff. / Competition between Norman and Derek to make the best stone age shelter goes too far and causes a fire on Pontypandy Island.
