Scottie Scheffler enhanced his chances of winning his second Major of 2025 and the fourth of his career when he further extended his lead over the field to four strokes at this stage in 2025 at Portrush, with Li Haotong moving into second place. Meanwhile, Rory McIlroy moved into contention with a five-under-par round of 66, and John Parry made a hole-in-one on the 13th hole.
