Inside the Asylum Camp
Inside the Asylum Camp
Mass accommodation sites are central to the Government's plan to end the use of asylum hotels and this undercover investigation goes inside Crowborough, a former military training camp in East Sussex now housing asylum seekers. The programme investigates conditions inside the site, finding how systemically poor welfare checks are having serious consequences, and also examines the local community's response to asylum seekers being housed in the town
Inside the Asylum Camp airs on ITV1 West +1 at 11:15 PM, Sunday 15 November. (Subtitles, new.)
