A washed-up prizefighter raising a seven-year-old son is unexpectedly reunited with his ex-wife, who is now wealthy and successful. She announces she wants the boy to live with her, as she can provide him with a better future. As the youngster becomes impressed by his mother's glamorous lifestyle, the boxer decides to return to the ring to win back his affection. Drama, starring Jon Voight, Faye Dunaway, Ricky Schroder, Jack Warden and Joan Blondell
