Alex angers the hospital's resident 'Mean Girl' nurse, Rene, when she changes up the schedule. Matt's inexperience and sheltered upbringing end up making the situation even worse, and Alex's attempts to assert her authority as head nurse create even greater tension with Rene that escalates beyond her control. Ron leaves an angry note on a car that parked too close to his driver's side door, which ends up being Serena's. When she refuses to acknowledge fault, Ron manages to escalate the situation.
