George searches frantically for Amy, but encounters more capsules and soon realises that the scale of the invasion is beyond his comprehension. Meanwhile, Amy and Frederick are at the Admiralty, looking for George and trying to help organise a response. As the invasion continues, Frederick decides they should go to his summer house in Shoeburyness, and there they head to the beach to try to catch a boat away from Britain.
