A woman is shot dead in an apartment while keeping watch on a man on a yacht in a marina, and the killer takes her camera and computer. A flash drive is recovered from the victim's baseball cap and surveillance footage on it includes images of Callen, who deduces that the pictures were taken in the days leading up to the attempt on his life and that the dead woman was the last person to see him before he was shot
