Last year's final saw Spain's Carlos Alcaraz fight back from two sets down to beat Jannik Sinner and claim his second successive French Open title. Sinner had won the first two sets 6-4 and 7-6 but the tide turned in the third set as Alcaraz won 6-4. The final two sets both went to tie-breaks before the Spaniard won them to win his fifth Major title
