Shift the Thrift
Abergavenny
Season 1 Episode 11 of 12
Joanna Page presents a thrifting showdown in Abergavenny, as partners Claudia and Luke face off to raise money for the British Heart Foundation. With £100 each and just 60 minutes on the clock, they're paired with expert thrifters and sent racing around the local charity shops. Luke dives straight in, snapping up a 1970s leather writing case and later taking punts on a brass Japanese telescope and vintage Dandy comics. Claudia, meanwhile, picks up a sheepskin jacket and other carefully chosen fashion pieces
Shift the Thrift airs on BBC One Cambridgeshire at 2:30 PM, Wednesday 21 October. (Subtitles, repeat, audio description.)
