The Name of the Rose
Medieval friar William of Baskerville investigates a series of murders at a remote monastery. While the monks are quick to declare the deaths the work of the Devil, William is convinced a human killer is at large, and sets out to expose the truth - a mission that brings him into conflict with the Inquisition. Mystery based on Umberto Eco's novel, starring Sean Connery, Christian Slater and F Murray Abraham.
