2026 European Championships: Day Six: Evening
Gabby Logan presents coverage of the evening session on day six from Alexander Stadium in Birmingham, including the men's and women's 4x100m finals. It was Great Britain who took the honours in the women's race two years ago in Rome, and the host nation were victorious in the men's event. It will also be hoped that Katarina Johnson Thompson can win a medal in the heptathlon, which concludes with the 800m, and Jake Wightman will be quietly confident in the 1500m, knowing that mile world record holder and Commonwealth title winner Josh Kerr is not taking part in these championships. A busy evening also sees medals awarded in the women's high jump and 400m, and the men's javelin, triple jump and 10,000m.
