Mother and daughter Kate and Ellie, guided by antiques expert Irita Marriott, compete against grandmother and grandson Carole and Tom, skippered by expert John Cameron. Natasha keeps tabs on events and in the workshop of historical costumier Ninya Mikhaila, learns about the techniques used to decorate Tudor garments, including one called 'pinking'
