A 999 call is received from a distressed woman whose husband is in cardiac arrest. Paramedics Ruth and Sarah are seven minutes from the incident and immediately dispatched, joining another team on scene who have found that the patient is awake but refusing to go to hospital. Senior paramedic Lauren is sent to join police at the scene of a stabbing, but must follow a trail of blood to locate the victim
