2025 Day Two: Evening Session

Coverage of the evening session on day two at York Barbican, featuring two first-round matches, played over the best of 11 frames. Jack Lisowski fought back from 3-0 down to overcome two-time champion Mark Selby 6-4 at this stage last year, and qualifier Wu Yize prevailed by the same scoreline against 13th seed Si Jiahui. The UK Championship is one of the Triple Crown events and always a highlight of the snooker calendar. The roll call of champions in recent years has been varied, with a different winner in each year since the turn of the decade. Ronnie O'Sullivan is the most successful player in the tournament's history, with eight triumphs, the last of which came in 2023 with a 10-7 victory over Ding Junhui in the final. With commentary and analysis from Steve Davis, John Parrott, Ken Doherty, Dennis Taylor, Stephen Hendry and Kyren Wilson, and reports from Shabnam Younus-Jewell

Live Snooker: UK Championship airs on BBC Four HD at 7:00 PM, Sunday 30 November. (Live, subtitles.)
