Docu-drama profiling Father Allan MacDonald. Born in Fort William in 1859, he was educated at Blairs College in Aberdeen and the Scots College in Valladolid in Spain, before returning to Scotland to take up duties at the parish of Daliburgh and Eriskay. He spent the next 17 years recording traditional customs and folklore, as well as composing his own hymns, songs and poetry
