From Gwern Hywel Uchaf farm near Ysbyty Ifan in Conwy, where Brychan Llyr discovers the remains of a small mansion house in one of the fields that has historical connections to Abraham Lincoln. Near to this ruin lie many other old farmsteads that have given their names to the surrounding fields. There is also an interesting story surrounding one of the boundaries at the farm, where a prominent local landowner from the 1500s was rumoured to ride his horses along the thick, dry stone walls
