Switzerland v Norway (Kick-off 8.00pm). Gabby Logan presents coverage of both teams' opening UEFA Women's Euro 2025 Group A match, held at St Jakob-Park in Basel, Switzerland. The hosts only qualified for this competition for the first time in 2017 and followed that up by also reaching the 2022 finals. They are yet to progress beyond the group stage, but will hope that home advantage will help them do so on this occasion. Norway have an illustrious history in this competition, having won the trophy in 1987 and 1993 and finished as runners-up on four further occasions, but they too failed to reach the knockout rounds in 2017 and 2022. They needed to qualify for this tournament via the play-offs, but they were dominant in those two-legged matches, comfortably overcoming Albania and Northern Ireland to secure their place here.
