Documentary insight into one of Ireland's most successful and influential folk singer-songwriters, and how he and his family have acquired an international legacy as musicians, social activists and storytellers. Tommy and his family, Anne, Colum and Ben, have always been immersed in music and storytelling, their home a haven for Catholics and Protestants to come together to share tunes and tales. The film takes viewers back to where it all started and hears from those who have been influenced by the Sands family, including Arlo Gurhrie
