Spain v Portugal (Kick-off 8.00pm). All the action from both teams' opening match in Group B, held at Stadion Wankdorf in Bern, Switzerland. These rivals met twice this year in April in the UEFA Nations League and world champions Spain won 4-2 at home and 7-1 away to demonstrate why they were the pre-tournament favourites to win this trophy. However, they were eliminated by hosts England in the quarter-finals three years ago and their best showing in the competition remains a third-place finish in 1997. Portugal are making their third consecutive appearance in the finals having never previously qualified, but were eliminated in the group stage in both 2017 and 2022
