Bonnie and Clyde
Celia Imrie tells the story behind one of the most influential films of the sixties, 1967's Bonnie and Clyde. Directed by Arthur Penn and produced by lead actor Warren Beatty, it told the tale of two bank robbers who - as the movie posters declared - were 'young, in love...and killed people'. The film turned Beatty and Faye Dunaway into international superstars, while also launching the careers of Gene Wilder and Gene Hackman
Talking Pictures airs on BBC Four HD at 2:05 AM, Friday 20 February. (Subtitles.)
