The number of multiple births has almost doubled in the past 30 years - a rise attributed, in part, to changing lifestyles and the increased use of assisted reproduction techniques such as IVF. The concluding part of the documentary follows Melanie and Martin from Devon, who are expecting triplets, and young Birmingham doctors Matt and Caroline, who are waiting anxiously for the moment they can go home with their premature twins.
