Summer arrives and the country is basking in a heatwave, a time for some of Wales's smaller - or more exotic - wild animals to shine. On Gronant beach in Flintshire, 350 female terns spread out across the sand to lay their eggs, while hungry gulls circle above. Meanwhile, thousands of crabs gather in the warm waters of the west to shed their shells and on the island of Skokholm, rabbits emerge from their warrens. But they, too, are at risk from predators
