The Travelling Auctioneers
A New Chapter Begins
Season 6 Episode 2 of 25
James Broad and Lauren Wood come to the rescue of Annie and Laurie, whose apartment, and multiple costly storage units, have become over-run with the inherited items of a number of late relatives. Wading through mountains of boxes and shelves, James uncovers an early edition of Through the Looking-Glass by Lewis Carroll that could prove a bestseller at auction. A box of treasured mementos from Annie's RAF officer father takes her down memory lane and Lauren sets to work restoring a Victorian writing bureau in serious need of attention
The Travelling Auctioneers airs on BBC One Cambridgeshire at 4:30 PM, Tuesday 16 June. (Subtitles, new, audio description.)
