The life of singer and actor Frank Sinatra, from his difficult birth and near death in Hoboken in 1915, through his rise to become one of the world's biggest entertainers. Using his music and with testimony from many of Frank's close friends, the programme charts his career highs and lows, as well as his numerous affairs with some of the world's most successful and beautiful women. The documentary also investigates Sinatra's links with organised crime, and aims to answer once and for all the allegation that his success was due to the Mob
